Absolutely! Despite what most people think, learning online or in person is very
similar. Once you have your first lesson, you will realise that you can have the same
information, and how much you practice in between classes is what will make you
improve. The teacher can give you instructions the same way as an in-person
lesson.

leaving home. That is more convenient and saves you time, energy and money, but

Does the online lesson work for the guitar?

Yes! The online guitar lesson works the same as an in-person lesson. Some people
may prefer to have a teacher in person to see the teacher better; however, regarding
the information on how to play, songs and exercises, the online works the same as
in-person lessons. It’s common to feel hesitant if you have never had an online guitar
class, but that fear disappears in the first few minutes of the lesson.

Should I first book a few lessons in person with someone before doing online
lessons?

That’s not necessary. You can learn online even if you have never played guitar
before. It doesn’t affect the learning at all.

Can the teacher tune my guitar in an online lesson?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The teacher will be able to help you tune your guitar at the beginning of the
lesson and also teach you how you can tune your guitar for your home practice.

Can the teacher see my hand through a computer?

Yes. The teacher can see your hand. Depending on your set-up, you may have to
change your sitting position sometimes. This is normal in an online lesson and
doesn’t take more than a few seconds.

Each subscription has a certain number of lessons. You can buy as many extra
sessions as you want if you use all your classes.

Yes. If, for some reason, you can’t make it to your class, you can cancel or
reschedule it.

Can I book a lesson in a group?

No. Our lessons are designed to be a 1 on 1 session. You’re welcome to bring
someone with you, but it will be the same camera for both of you

What equipment do I need for the lesson?

You will need a computer, iPad or, in the last case, a phone, access to the internet,
and a guitar. We recommend having lessons on a bigger screen to see the teacher
better.

How does the booking system work in different time zones?

When you book your class, all the options you see are already changed to your
timezone. You don’t need to do anything.

What if I sign up for lessons but realise the online doesn’t work for me?

Not to worry. We give you two weeks to try us, including a 1 on 1 private online
lesson. If you don’t like our program or have a change of heart, simply let us know,
and we will cancel your subscription and refund you.
